The organization has negotiated special rates with a number of hotels and a residence, all within walking distance from the conference site.

Be advised that hotel prices fluctuate quite bit, specially in the city centre. We negotiated what we believe are advantageous prices in nearby hotels, but feel free to book your own accommodation.
Important: To reserve the negotiated rates, fill and send by fax the corresponding booking form below to the hotel/residence. This is the mechanism to identify you as a conference participant and have the special rates applied. Please note the deadlines.

Some basic information about the hotels/residence follows. Please check the link for more accurate descriptions.

• Hotel Catalonia Ramblas is 10-minute-walk away from the conference venue. It is located in a modernist building dating from 1903, but has been wholly renovated recently. Wi-fi, fitness room, swimming pool.

• Hotel APSIS 40 is a small and very new hotel, a 10-minute-walk away from the conference venue.  FULL

• Hotel NH Duc de la Victoria is a beautiful modernist building located in a pedestrian street in the gothic quarter. Wi-fi, 10 minutes away from the conference venue, across Las Ramblas.

• Hotel HUSA Mesón Castilla is decorated in traditional Spanish style -- check their virtual tour. No wi-fi, 8 minutes away from conference venue.

• Residencia de Investigadores is the researcher's residence of the Spanish Council for Research (CSIC). Rooms are simple and modest, less services, but there is wi-fi, and some cultural event every day. Check their virtual tour (in Spanish, sorry). All rooms are non-smoking.
